In the first-person shooter open-world game, you’re facing off against an armed, radical cult based within Christianity called The Project at Eden’s gate, who have sunk their claws through violence and indoctrination into Hope County, Montana, where the game takes place. Set in modern times, you play as a protagonist who is a junior deputy police officer in the fictional Hope County, Montana. Players will find that their arrival accelerates a years-long silent coup by a fanatical doomsday cult, called Project at Eden’s Gate. Quickly the county breaks into a violent take over between a resistance group and the cult. Your job: to help liberate the Hope County community and themselves. Far Cry 5 is set to release on February 27, 2018 for PS4, PC, Xbox One, PS4 Pro, and Xbox One X.
