  TowerFall Ascension [cheats]
Gunn Style variant
At the credits screen, press [Left] [Right] [Up] [Up] [Down] A to unlock the Gunn Style variant.

Ascension level
Unlock all three bonus levels, then select the "Archives" option at the main menu. Change the page to "Ascension", then press [Right] [Up] [Left] [Right] [Right] [Down] [Down] [Up] [Down] to unlock the Ascension level.

Bonus levels
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding level:

Moonstone: Play every default level once, then play the Sacred Ground level in Versus mode until it becomes unlocked.
Sunken City: Select Versus mode, then choose the "Random" option when selecting a level. Repeat this until it randomly appears.
Towerforge: Successfully complete the King's Court level in Quest mode.

Bonus archers
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding archer:

Ancient Exile (white): Unlock and play the Moonstone level, then break the purple crystal that contains Ancient Exile. Note: You may need to play multiple rounds until it appears.
Forgotten Master (yellow): Collect all seven yellow gems hidden throughout the levels in Trial mode.
Prancing Puppet (cyan): Unlock the Sunken City level.
Vicious Vessel (purple): Play the Twilight Spire level in Versus mode until a random event occurs. Note: You may need to use the Turncloak Soldier or Last Of The Order character to trigger it.


Steam achievements
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding achievement. To view your achievements and stats in Steam, select "Community", "My profile", "View all my games", then the game and view stats.

Ascension: Discover Ascension.
Battle Stenography: Earn every award in Versus mode.
Creation Myth: Discover TowerForge.
Crimson Shield: Earn 8 red skulls in Quest mode.
Demented Thespian: Unlock the Cyan Archer.
Demon Queen: Unlock the Purple Archer.
Dex Check: Beat 10 diamond times in Trials mode.
Exuluna: Unlock the White Archer.
Fabled Recluse: Unlock the Yellow Archer.
Golden Goddess: Earn 14 red skulls in Quest mode.
High Treason: Put on the King's crown.
Massive Mythology: Play 20,000 rounds of Versus mode.
Omens: Discover Moonstone.
Rapture: Complete Ascension in Quest mode.
Serpent Hymns: Discover Sunken City.
Sleepy Master: Fall asleep in combat.
Tall Tales: Play 1,000 rounds of Versus mode.
Thief's Badge: Beat 30 diamond times in Trials mode.
Time Lord: Complete all 36 stages in Trials mode, with a total best time of under 2 minutes.
Way of the Order: Complete the first 3 towers of Quest mode.




General Tips

Catching arrows is perhaps the most important thing in TowerFall. If you can master that, you can beat anyone. It's even possible to catch multiple arrows at once with perfect timing.
Be careful when opening treasure chests, there may be a bomb inside!
Remember that levels wrap around. Shooting an arrow to the left of the map to target someone on the right side always proves satisfying.
Spamming arrows can be a valid strategy in certain situations, though it may upset your opponent...
Remember to jump on opponents' heads, especially if you run out of arrows.
When time runs short and the walls start caving in, use that to your advantage. Your opponent may be distracted, which is a great time to be more aggressive.
Laser arrows can be very dangerous – be sure not to accidentally kill yourself.
Holding the shoot button allows you to aim your arrows, so use it often.
Don't use special arrows haphazardly. Wait for the perfect opportunity to use them, even if it means being less aggressive. Wasting a perfectly good bomb arrow is a terrible thing.
We all love shiny treasure chests, but don't let your guard down. Your opponent also knows your intentions and may be waiting to target you when you head for the bait.
