The chaps over at KitGuruATech have posted an extensive benchmark video, this time they take a close look at the Halo Infinite campaign. Dominic benchmarks a total of 29 GPUs, looking at Medium and Ultra settings over a range of resolutions. How well does Halo perform?

Why is it not pretty?

I did a couple tests myself (non monetized videos-not clickbaiting). These are 60fps target runs and not max performance benchmarks per se.

There is some stuttering in the videos, but these are from the recording. I mean there are frames missing from the recording. Dunno why, but I think the reason is I recorded in desktop mode instead of full screen mode. The 3060ti is new for me and I have no experience with shadowplay recording, since I have an external recorder on my other systems. But you can see the framerate/frametimes graph and other info on the top right.

So...

1) 2500k+3060ti, 1920X1080, Ultra, Outdoors section

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VnMnMTUDxwo

The 3060ti is at 65-70% gpu load most of the time.

2) 2500k+3060ti, 3840X2160, High, Outdoors section

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HF8dRkNJLYM

GPU load is around 80% for 60fps

Also I cannot stress enough, that I am using an 11yo 2500K here. No that was not a typo. And as a reminder the Sandy Bridge only had PCI 2.0 connectivity, with 8b/10b encoding, so a lot of overhead.

This is just a test system, not a final configuration.

I will test my 1070,970,2700k and 8600k soon enough.

it's not pretty because it's an xbox360 game...upscaled and "remastered" in all ways to be on newer consoles but it was done in the way that required minimum amount of work, probably done by one person during 10 years.\

Go play Quake Champions.

EDIT: I just looked at your video, it looks fine, I expected a lot worse.
