| Yep, the usual MS strategy. Come in cheap, get the masses in and then raise the prices. |

I’ve been on Game Pass for a while, and it’s good to see Essential and Premium stay the same price, but that 50% jump on Ultimate feels pretty steep for long-term subscribers. |

As it was never open to abuse. Duh.
The amount of games *never* bought because they could play them -nearly or to their entirety- over a weekend/week/month depending on your employment status. $60+ game(s) on steam all played -or enough to justify if they are worth $60+
This is why lack of demos -not a 2hr pushing buttons window on steam- are failures.
Generations grow up expecting instant sugar rush. No waiting, no thought needed. Click-play-bin.
Devs are the (idiot) ones losing out and M$ coins it in.
Seeing as you own fuck-all -digitally. Why wouldn’t you just jump in for a monthly pass etc to play all the games you wanted to but weren’t going to shell out 1000’s
Digital is the bane of the world. Dad puts on VR glasses and says to son: “this is all yours when I’ve gone” |
