Yep, the usual MS strategy. Come in cheap, get the masses in and then raise the prices.

I’ve been on Game Pass for a while, and it’s good to see Essential and Premium stay the same price, but that 50% jump on Ultimate feels pretty steep for long-term subscribers.

As it was never open to abuse. Duh.
The amount of games *never* bought because they could play them -nearly or to their entirety- over a weekend/week/month depending on your employment status. $60+ game(s) on steam all played -or enough to justify if they are worth $60+
This is why lack of demos -not a 2hr pushing buttons window on steam- are failures.
Generations grow up expecting instant sugar rush. No waiting, no thought needed. Click-play-bin.
Devs are the (idiot) ones losing out and M$ coins it in.

Seeing as you own fuck-all -digitally. Why wouldn’t you just jump in for a monthly pass etc to play all the games you wanted to but weren’t going to shell out 1000’s

Digital is the bane of the world. Dad puts on VR glasses and says to son: “this is all yours when I’ve gone”

What is the Difference Between Xbox 360 Models? - So, you've finally decided to start looking at buying an Xbox 360. Good for you, there are some great games on there. Halo 3, Grant Theft Auto 4, Bioshock, Madden, the list goes on. Playing DivX and Xvid content on Xbox 360 - Microsoft’s Xbox 360 gaming console is one of the most popular ever. It’s great for sitting around and playing games with friends and you can even play DVD’s and music CD’s on the console. While this isn’t terribly exciting, if you have a system that is running Windows Media Center (MCE) or Vista Ultimate Edition, you can stream Windows Media Video (WMV) movies to your 360 console over the network. Singularity - PC, PS3, Xbox 360 - Raven have stated that Singularity's main gameplay mechanism is a device, known in the game as the TMD (Time Manipulation Device). The TMD has the ability to move a single object through time, both into the future, and into the past. It can also freeze an object in time, and has an 'Impulse' function, which can be used as a weapon once upgraded. The TMD is multifunctional, as it can be used as a powerful weapon, but also as a tool in puzzle solving scenarios. The device's use as a weapon is unconventional when compared to the weapons in other games. For instance, using the TMD's "rewind" function on a human opponent will send them into a "placental" state where they revert to an almost amoebic state, before slowly dying. The device is essential for solving puzzles, such as sending a lock forward in time, causing it to rust it in real time, or sending a broken bridge backwards in time until it returns to a usable state. Sending a tree trunk forwards in time while standing on it will cause it grow very quickly, allowing the player to reach higher areas. (746 hits)
Crash Time 4: The Syndicate (PC, Xbox 360) - Experience the singleplayer-campaign with spectacular shootings, reckless driving through the german city of Cologne and a blind date in way you will never forget. And if that is not enough action, battle your opponents online in exciting races and pretty desctructive deathmatch-fights. (688 hits)
