UEFA Champions League Season 2001-2002 is the official UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE Season 2001/2002 video game with all of the official players, teams, sponsors and kits for this season that gives you the an opportunity to play against EuropeÆs leading clubs, whilst also offering you the option to take on previous winners, since 1956. The game features several game modes including: custom tournaments, quick match, friendly matches, UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE, player editor, secrets and hidden features, tournament editor allows you to recreate any football competition, player editor, 21 of the most impressive European stadiums. Despite the game offers so many promising features I'm pretty disappointed. First thing that shocked me was problem to adjust game graphics. Well, the graphic are good and pretty fast even with high-resolution, but the game was horrible dark on my computer even when I tried to turn my brightness and contrast to 100%. It seems to be a bug, but this fact made this game almost unplayable on my PC (GeForce2 MX+regular drivers, DirectX 8.1 - I never had problem with any game like that). Anyway I captured some screenshots and tried to play (in dark room) it a bit :) The game AI seems to be quite good, unfortunately only for you computer opponent ;) While computer plays good, your team-mates are always too slow and looks like under barbiturates. Well, it's maybe only my opinion but I don't like this game which reminds me not very good port from PS2. (I'm not sure if this game was originally developed for PC). I think FIFA 2001 and FIFA 2002 are still the best soccer games on the PC. No demo is available this time.
