The Italian Job is a 3rd person mission based driving game loosely based on the 1969 movie of the same name. You take on the role of lovable rogue gang leader Charlie Croker in his attempt to steal $4,000,000 worth of gold in broad daylight from under the noses of the Polizei and Mafia. The game features 6 different playing modes, the main one being the 16 Italian Job' missions for you to tackle in the game's story-based mode, 2 massive "Free Ride Levels" (London & Turin), 10 Challenge Levels, 20 Destructor Levels, 20 Checkpoint Levels and multiplayer (only on the same computer) in Challenge, Destructor and Checkpoint modes. You will be able to drive the legendary 3 Austin Mini Cooper S cars, as well as 11 other legendary motors, ranging from sports cars to 4x4s and a bus. I thought that The Italian Job could be nice successor for SCI's Carmaggedon, but it was my big mistake. Sadly, this game is only an unsuccessful attempt to create another Driver.
