Sno-Cross Extreme allows you to become the rider of some of the sweetest looking Yamaha snowmobiles. The game offers extreme sled racing in 3 different leagues located all over the world such as the Olympic city of Nagano, the jet set centre Aspen or even in the Russian naval ship graveyard in Murmansk, Russia (hehe this one looks like an ice-world). Sno-Cross Extreme features 3 levels of competition, 12 tracks of extreme racing (each track can also be played with different weather and time of day settings), twelve Yamaha sleds that are modeled straight off from the secret CAD drawings created by Yamaha's Research & Development division in Tokyo and track editor to change/load/save or make new tracks to get unlimited arrays of racing challenges. You start with the light 500cc models of sleds and work your way up through the World Tour all the way to the Professional league run with  the heavy and extremely fast 700cc sleds. As you progress you will unlock hidden sleds and locations. Also during the race your sled receives dynamic damages of different kinds. The graphics are impressive, though sometimes grainy in close-up shots :) Also the sound is quite good, with almost real snowmobile sound effects. I've liked to play Sno-Cross Extreme, the game has simple controls and will provide you plenty of fun. Download playable demo (11.7MB).
