XDA writer Ty Sherback says random lockups and Tarkov crashes on his 7800X3D stopped after he disabled Memory Context Restore. That BIOS toggle stores the last good DDR5 training so AM5 boards skip the long retraining and boot faster.

| Of course AMD couldn’t be arsed finding the cause or remedying it. This is the state of the future and quality control testing. AMD will no doubt fix the BIOS with zero thanks to the guy that found it. In the meantime you’re back to a downgraded pc waiting, ffs, 30 seconds! Mine is on the logon in around 10 seconds from cold start |
