Because the world is full of his kind.
He has everything running after his ass. Why else would people buy cars that turn on lights, wipers, automatic oil levels and even apply a handbrake! The world is regressing to the simplest point that couples that get together can’t even do basic cooking, because they have lived on home delivery all their adult lives.
He doesn’t know his *permanent* address because he has dozens of houses. He’s just normalising what who he is that doesn’t need to answer to anyone.
Remember WALL-e, the spaceship is full of fat slobs that can no longer walk and are pushed about by robots. Because they relied on them so long.
It’s not just younger people.
Go ask people in their 30s if they can wallpaper, wire a plug, change a fuse, check oil/water on their cars. They most likely pay others to do it for them at garages/tradesmen.
Then you have the PC. Basically 100% of all complainants on steam come out with: “this game is shit it just crashes” that’s it. No spec knowledge, no intuition, no problem solving capabilities and worst of all. The inability to think for themselves.
Welcome to Earth 2026 style.
BTW, just looking back at his post “ My opinion: If a civilization stops teaching math, it does not get “new skills.”
So how do you think engineering developed around the world? The biggest largest projects - that (some) still around today; 100s year later.
The Titanic, Big Boy- steam/diesel locomotives, the combustion engine, space shuttles/stations, the wheel!, radio waves etc.
Unlike the shit built today by robots and cheap laziness.
There’s nothing intuitive today, other than shortcuts to make money the easiest way. |
