Soldier of Fortune was one of my favorite FPS games because of the damage zones. Nothing quite beat taking a .45 to the back of someones head and see their face disappear.
So, this would be something I'd like to see more of in games. The internal organ thing is interesting too, I wonder if he was suggesting you could score internal organ damage and so realistically drop people depending on where you hit them.
Nice touches but I think if and when the game came out I'd be hard pushed to get a PS3 just for that. If it proves popular every PC fps will do the same, if only Nvidia and ATi started putting physics processors on their cards too! |
