Well, well, well. The major change over the last games is the graphics. This demo is absolutely loaded with every possible effect and then some. The car models are very nicely detailed, though not perfectly accurate. The sound is good especially the buggy's V8, it sounds supercharged but I'm not sure if it is. The game plays well on low settings while looking good. I tried ultra mode @1680x1050 and it completely shat itself on my 7800GTX, 2gb ram, 3500+. Was getting less than 1FPS lol. The gameplay is just as arcadey as any other Colin McCrae game and as such keeps me from buying it. Overall I thought it was a very good improvement on the series even it plays identically. The menu system is really annoying though. Clearly not made for PC.
