I can still remember i9 9900K and how it burnt all our houses down. Ah, the drama of it all. It's a great value used CPU now Very Happy

Wow, wow, wow.
So much extra power and only marginal improvements - this CPU makes no sense.
I'd assume it's because the ewaste cores do not bring any performance improvement in games and the clock speed change on the proper cores is marginal.
The energy prices are much higher here, so no chance for Intel...
Over a year I can save the cost of a second CPU on power, lol
Or, tons of flowers to her.

The beginning of this video is great, have a laugh!

I am beginning to think these i7-14700K CPUs are just faulty i7-13900K processors that work acceptably on higher clock speeds with a few ewaste cores disabled.
Again, there is no generational improvement!

Seems to me this was a last, desperate attempt to compete and the last nail into the coffin.
