You can't sell shit at premium price.
Happened to Intel, happened to Nvidia.
You should have learned your lesson.
Perhaps your problem is you assume people have a much higher salary after all these years so they can spend more on PCs. Well, that assumption is just plain wrong.
It does not matter what performance you bring, people won't be able to pay the amounts you ask for.
Sure, there will always be a select few, but then again, you would like to sell more than a few thousand units, wouldn't you?
