How can this guy talk about such a simple thing for 15 mins?
Yes, it all started with RivaTuner and it's always been a one-man show.
Yes, you can't pay Russians from any civilized foreign country.
There. In less than a minute.
And no, it is not a bad news for the GPU industry - it is bad news for the end users only.
So, what you can do:
- tell your friends how sanctions are killing your way of life and ask them to support stopping the war, or,
- move to a civilized country, or
- bite the bullet and try to sit the war out - go and do something else and come back once you have received your due payments once the sanctions are over (they will stay for a while even after the war though), or
- just give it up as a whole. Your work will be sorely missed, but there is nothing we can do, even if we wanted to donate, we would not be able to because we can't wire money to Russia, same as MSI. Put the source code onto github and let the community try its best maintaining it going forward.
Steam is not going to work, remember those sanctions, sanctions, sanctions...
