trash game, Kojima was tripping too hard and thought for a second after all his success with MGS that he is an ARTIST and hes gonna produce something out of this world, meanwhile, its just trash fantasies aka DHL / FedEx simulator. Hardcore Kojima fans dig it, but honestly, even though I love his previous MGS games, its like without Konami guidance, it just ended up as a big pile of turd ... |

I played the first 10 mins and after the 50 SKIP parts, the 7 LOADING parts and all the gross parts I deleted it, removed it from my favorites list and I wont ever play it again.
It was lucky I even got to 5 mins, I was going to delete it after the first 1 min.
It might look good but just like MGS they have no F@CKING IDEA what SKIP means. WHY have a skip, skip, loading, skip, skip, walk 5 steps, skip, skip, loading, skip, lost count, skip, loading, skip, skip, skip another loading, skip, skip, turn the game off as you REALLY want to SKIP all of it.
So if you are lucky and didn't get it then you really are lucky and didn't waste 10 mins of your life skipping like I did.
And they are making a DS2? really? The first sucked bigtime. I guess they want to make sure it sucks even worse the 2nd time.
I've put blocks for the words "death stranding" over social media so I never have to hear about it, then it pops up in epic for free... Thats the only way I would get it and then that I now regret it. Its not even worth free. |

Man, seriously too much eggnog…..
It must be a generation thing.
The Wtcher 3 and even MGS 4 and don’t, for crying out loud, play Disco Elysium!
It’s a story/cutscene, information to build up for the player , just like most games.
If you skip it, then you miss out.
I take it you don’t go to the cinema then, like looking for a remote to fast forward or skip entire section of the film because it’s ‘going to slow or not interesting enough’
The horror of playing games in the 90s with lines of TEXT!! |

It's a walking simulator - intended to be "taken in" inch, by inch, slowly.
It's not for action game junkies.
Do not skip anything; the story is actually the great part of this game - getting past the walking simulator shite is the challenge; it's boring as shite.
Hours of nothing but tumbling around on rocks while trying to remain hidden from baddies.
I think it's intended for people who can't walk on their own anymore but they'd like to enjoy long walks one way or another.
There's some more action near the end of the game once you get a decent weapon, but don't get your hopes up, there is still walking to be done.
Sure, you can build roads and stuff but guess what - you won't be using them much anyway because you'll always be going where you haven't been before.
So, be prepared to invest a lot of time. |

It’s actually an ‘Action’ game. But seeing as you only played 10mins you wouldn’t know or understand it’s reasoning it’s starts as it does.
“ The game is set in the United States following a cataclysmic event which caused destructive creatures to begin roaming the Earth. Players control Sam Porter Bridges (Norman Reedus), a courier tasked with delivering supplies to isolated colonies and reconnecting them via a wireless communications network. Alongside Reedus, the game features actors Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, Margaret Qualley, Troy Baker, Tommie Earl Jenkins, and Lindsay Wagner, in addition to the likenesses of film directors Guillermo del Toro and Nicolas Winding Refn as supporting characters.”
It’s just not your game, period. It’s not bad just because you don’t like it. Like anything in life. It’s a choice.
But I don’t need to twist the whole world around to try to make your opinion better than those that like it.
The biggest clue is “I’m playing it, not you”. |

Sabot, then enjoy it,
I was disgusted by the baby thing. That sickens me. Anything like that so its a no play for me from the start.
Thats why I never knew anything about the game and why I got it when it was free to have a look at it and found its worse than I expected.
Except you, maybe even you, I've played more games on 1 console than many people have on all consoles.
I've been gaming since I was 12 and that was 39 years ago.
I've played on just about all the consoles except a few not available in this country and some I've imported (Steam Deck).
I know games. Played so many I have lost count many years ago.
It was like a new game every 3 days for the last 20 years.
Back when there were game rental shops it was 1 game a day for years.
So I know good games, bad games, I've played all kinds and my fav are mostly the unknown or hated or not well known about. Well, the best of the best games are the banned ones. Love them. (Manhunt 2 is my fav. Finished that about 10 times on maybe 5 different platforms)
So this game.... It looked good but it was sickening from the start. Kinda went the pushed agenda way. Trying to get people to eat bugs and the baby in the jar? WTF? Something to do with a fetus. Goes along with the agenda so I dont know. Abortions, baby parts, I dont know. Didn't play enough to find out and dont really care as never going to play it again.
If its a walking sim you want there are many other good walking sims. Some look as good as this, some dont. Others are not sickening or have hidden agendas built in like this one does.
So whatever. I hate it, give it a 1/10. The 1 is for the graphics but it looses points for everything else. Gameplay sucked, story sucked, it just plain old sucked.
If I rented this I would ask for my money back, thats how bad it is.
If you like it then go enjoy it... And dont forget to get your next booster shot when you finish it. |

It’s just a game…….. I mean, yes they have age classification like movies to stop your little brother or sister buying and playing it, but that’s a parent’s responsibility what comes into a house.
But I’m sure nowadays they’ve seen and done things that we only did as older teenagers.
As far i have played so far, the BB. is a companion and it’s just science fiction. Though in a thousand years - if humans are still around- then you’ll be seeing babies in these containers, of sorts, on Mars or the bloody moon!
Just a little sensitive to stuff that hasn’t or doesn’t exist other than binaries, kind of stuff I expect from the flakes, weirdos that are out and about today. But not a long term gaming adult. I mean it *passed* development and classification etc.
Just blowing it way out of proportions.
I’ve never in my life bothered about games other than if they are ‘interesting, good story/features and value for money’. Real life has never come into it and never will - it’s not real as I’ve said- the whole point of games is to *escape* I never hear people complaining that people got eaten in Jurassic Park the movies! |
