| The 1080 is a killer product. The entire 2000-series lineup was no reason to upgrade from it. The 3000-series is, but only if you go similarly high end there for the 3080 (or a Radeon 6800 XT, by all means). |

Say you had 1080 and it died and you really don't need a stronger card. 6600XT is faster and cost is acceptable. 3050 is somewhat at acceptable price and is faster. 3060 and 6700xt are beasts faster than 1080Ti, 2070s, 2080....2080S. |
