I am working on the assumption this is supposed to be sarcasm, as if its not…

Are you ill or something? The X850 is old tech now of course it’s not going to compete with the 7800 series.

That statement is like saying the ATI 9800 series is king because it beats a ti4600 to death in any game.

They aren’t supposed to be in direct completion with each other as ATI is yet to release the new tech which is supposed to be in direct competition with the 7800 series.

In a month ATI will engage Nvidia in a very serious and tough for the 7800GTX battle. My bet is on ATI. Though I really like Nvidia's "grass etc antialiasing", a useful technology indeed.
P.S: Badmagic is right, you never compare two different generations of video cards, it' nonsense!!!

New Ati card will kick Nvidia 7800GTX ass like before.
