The notorious hacking group Fail0verflow has demonstrated what appears to be the world's first low-level hack of the PlayStation 4. As well as bypassing the console's security measures, Fail0verflow has also managed to write a custom version of Linux for the console, and has made the PS4 Linux port publicly available o

Clearly not easy, they even have their own linux.
Sony & Security do not go together. I think that's pretty obvious by now. |

If you take into account the months (or years) hackers took to exploit the Playstation 3, I'll say they're pretty solid. Not even Apple can protect from an exploit for that long.
I'm not an expert. That's my impression. |

It was months, not years and Sony is hacked all the time. When my credit card was stolen the second time on PS3, and Sony took back games that were free, I was done with that shitty console. Their shitty compensation, after 2 weeks of downtime was crapola games that I wouldn't even buy. Sony sucks and they get what they deserve. Apple n00b phones, I've no comment for that yuppy overpriced trash. |

Yup, PS4s got hacked very early and in response Sony issued a mandatory update (those without it would be locked out). |
