Bethesda and id Software have detailed the closed alpha phase of Doom. Doom's closed alpha testing will feature one game mode, one map, one power weapon, six regular weapons and two equipment items.

One Map: Heatwave
The Alpha will feature 1 multiplayer map: Heatwave. This

If your expectations are not through the roof then it should be 'fun'. I never had any beta invite when I bought the game, so this is bullshit.
