Looks pretty good. No Riddick killer, but at least better than HL-2. Wink

This looks to be promising. I'll keep an eye on it.
P.S: what's so wrong with HL2? Awesome game IMHO.

Though my points may not be similar to those of v1m I feel that I would like to contribute an answer to the question. I hope that IS ok.

HL2 was over hyped but that doesn’t mean it was bad. Eye candy was nice, game play was superb, story was worthless, it was linear, the AI was completely scripted and every scene was triggered/scripted which is why it was so damn linear.

Riddick, though it may not compete with the eye candy of hl2, has those things that lack in hl2. AI is great heck it was hard to play it on hard. Unlike in hl2 when only thing changed in the incensement of difficulty was the opponents armour and their bullets (they gotten a lot stronger whereas your armour got weaker)

You can take different paths to beat certain levels in Riddick. Some are stealth oriented others are go-in-and-blast-your-way-through oriented. Story was better than hl2 Very Happy Not that I’m a Riddick fan but it’s just more fun to play when they put you IN the story unlike in hl2 when you're already in it and have no idea what the hell is going on so you have to look at bulletin boards just to find out and in game fmvs don’t help they (the figments of valves imagination/characters think that you know EVERYTHING)!!!!

And game play; just like hl2 superb but both Riddick and hl2 have their moments. Some good ones in hl2 and some bad ones in Riddick. But when game play is simple enough for you to enjoy the game you begin to notice the garbage they put in. In Riddick game play developed as you moved on so you couldn’t say anything until you beat the game and you were satisfied in the end not just with the ending the whole game. In Hl2 you have tested everything, had every weapon, mid game. There was nothing to look forward to except the over powered gravity gun Laughing And the ending in hl2 made everything seem worthless.

I would just love to see some decent expansions/sequel for hl2. Since the ending made it clear a third one is in the works I’m 100% sure it will be in an off world setting. More like ‘zen’ or some other planet they made up just so they can do gravitational changes so players could soil their panties when they see a corpse attempting to rise from the ground suddenly start flying upward along with the little dust it has shifted. Like dragon ball z when those yellow haired guys turn to those golden haired guys.

I'm terribly sorry if at some points I have strayed off topic; lack of medications. I also apologize for the lack, or very little, use of grammar.

Sorry to be bad, but this game looks like trash. This game looks so bloody amateur and fake its amazing anyone will buy it. I really love this little 'gaussian' blur thing they got going on everyshot. Oh HL2 SP wasn't maybe the best, but in the end, it's not about SP it's about MP with HL2. It's the engine, it's capabilities of what "could" be done with the engine. Like HL1 which as far as I'm concerned had a gay story, HL2 had a wee better one just Valve ripped so much out of the game that they affected the story it seems. Anyhow, HL2 and Riddick kick the crap out of this Eidos, desperate to get a good FPS game thing. This game is almost as funny looking as that POS 'Q3 I wanna be Q2 mod' thing. Ain't nothing so far that's gonna soil my HL2...STALKER right now is the only thing I see that will be able to step on HL2 grounds.
