You know, just once I'd like to see a protagonist in a game who isn't "haunted by his past" or all weepy over some dead cooch. The cliche has worn thinner than Miley Cyrus' panties.

OK, on the one hand...I completely agree with you.

But on the other hand you're bitching about a game with NOIR in the friggin title of the game.

Go bitch about this at a reasonable place.

It says NOIR on the title. That's what it is. DUDE DO YOUR EVEN NOIR? Everything you bitched about (except miley's dirty panties WHICH SHE DOES NOT WEAR ANYWAY) IS the definition of NOIR.

All of the things you are complaining about is what NOIR IS. You are in the wrong place.
