Piranha Games have released the first trailer for MechWarrior Online. It\'s unquestionable that the only proper way to kill each other is while driving huge battle mechs and blowing up everything you see with oversized weaponry. Actually I always hoped for a MechWarrior Offline.

I wanted a story-driven satisfying experience, like the previous MechWarriors (MechWarrior 3 / 4).

I'm simply not interested in going online running like a turkey against other people I don't give a damn to kill.

I agree. Also, MechWarrior 2: 31st Century Combat was the best back in the day.

I agree with both posts above.
MW2 with a new engine (with all of its expansions) would be nice.

didnt microsoft have a trailer for an offline mw game? it looked really good, then i read it was canned due to battletec or something like that.
this game dosnt really look good, and willnot have the same macanics as the older games did, this will be fast past shit.

Not Microsoft, they have sold the rights to the MW franchise.

At the time everyone thought it would be an offline game, while producing it they decided to make it multiplayer and the result is what you see in this article.
