Just another annoyance to deal with... |

This bullshit actually makes the regular "must be always connected to play" sound good.
I guess Stalker 2 will be the first Stalker game I don't bother buying.
I live in a very rural area and believe it or not dial-up is the only internet available still. Playing the "always connected" games is annoying but doable. Having the damned game stop to download parts of the game WHILE I'm playing it will NOT be playable. Idiots.
And before one of you morons says I should move, screw you too. I like living out in the middle of nowhere. |

Usually it good idea to show little of game title, before telling potential customers that online drm streaming bullshit is what they will accept. Stalking u, I mean 2 might be amazing.. still if it is then why not
allow customers to pay for game as they streaming play.. (ok debt banking transaction scamming penny pinching scumbags running a monopoly on money is why this method is hard to implement nvm) still read on...
Quest 1, go kill wild boar ($2)...
Quest?? ???? (profit)
Quest 45 Wait for walking NPC to cross your sniper scope. ($5)
Completing all quests = cost of retail game anyway.
That way if customer start to see the game storyline quality of quests or anything that puts them off playing any further they don't have blown the money fully like.. and can have otherwise spent on something else. I mean paying for a game where some of it sits on a some servers because of 'piracy' is a con.
shoddy translation: Whatever I won't be buying it. |

Unless it's a pirate server on your LAN, lol - but I guess you won't be paying a dime then... |

| what a scam. Paying for a part of the product? Not to mention that these Russian developers probably pirated every game they played in their lives...oh the irony... |

Works with cars.
But, I wonder what the end-user license agreement will look like. These agreements usually refer to the 'software product' as a whole. If you don't get the software as a whole, you cannot require anything on the missing part, lol

Yes, it's ironic. They crack most games. So, it must be the crackers on crack that came up with this idea. |

what do you mean by "works with cars"? You don't get a whole car when you buy one?! I think you meant spare parts for cars, but you buy those to replace ones that you already got. It's different with this "stalker 2" product, you don't get a whole product to begin with :S |

Yes, I meant the parts, but I realize that it's not entirely valid.
Buying software are more like leasing cars nowadays, rather than buying them. You can use it for a while (while you have to pay for monthly), and then it's worthless, you move onto the next. |
