Much like the Battlefield games before it, Battlefield 3 will support both ranked and unranked servers, as DICE’s Mikael Kalms notes in a recent EA forum post. If you’re interested in renting your own BF3 server, here are a few bits of info, according to Kalms:

| Definitely the icing on the cake for me. Fuck Punkbuster fake anticheat bullshit. I got better things to do than play amongst a bunch of hackers with a game with no spec mode to shield hackers even more. |
