For starters, the game doesn\'t support DX11. Although Crytek stated that they will address that via a patch, this is not what you, me and every PC gamer out there want to. PC gamers don\'t want g

Crytek can go fuck themselves.
I am not buying it until DX11 comes along and only if they have done a VERY good job with it. |

Simply in a nutshell!
As for Crytek? What where those guys thinking? I was going to purchase this one even if it was the console ripoff price of 60.... now Crytek can shove it.

can any of you guys actually use dx11?
Cause 90% of the people i have seen complaining about no dx11 are those that can't even utilize it at all. |

Speaking for myself (without trying to show off, just stating personal facts) I have six graphics cards, five of which are DX11 capable and Win7 on all three of my rigs. So yes I can!
There have been DX11 cards on sale, since 2009. |

| I had dx11 card (5850) but due to lack of games that could use it, lack of games that could utilize the card it self, and lack of tessellation performance (who are we kidding? You need gtx580 Sli for any serious tessellation), I sold it and bought gtx260. Honestly, I haven't noticed that I miss 5850 in any of the games I play. Or dx11. |

So, according to that lame article, some minor glitches and no dx11 support doomed the game?
Really?
And here I thought games were bought because they were playable and stuff?
IMHO that article is dead wrong, Crytek doomed crysis 2 by simply releasing yet another FPS.
You'd better go and rent/watch a couple of cgi movies if you're not satisfied with crysis, it's more or less what you require anyway |
