Microsuck are selling a hardware product, what a consumer does with it after buying should be fuck all concern of a business! Especially a megascumopoly that gets fucking shit loads of money from the public, in tax funding and exemptions! from government and its drones needing windows slop when free alternatives would be just as effective.

Not to mention outright scumbaggery business tactics used in the market place and against competitors.

Anyway well done to those involved in recreating a driver, you can bet 3d animators and some developers will be pleased with a potentially cost effective setup of motion tracking if things progress further with this.

Personally I still wouldn't buy that junk, but at least on a PC its spyware hazard-ness can be nerfed!

so why didn't they make it PC compatible too and put games out for PC for it? PC will continue to be the last denominator of gaming and M$ proved it with their POS kinect or whatever that POS is called. Rolling Eyes

I am not sure why M$ would have a problem with this, after all they will surely sell more units if it can work on the PC.
More fool them for not implementing it on PC as well as XBox, of course it could be that they are selling a loss leader in kinect and hoping it will sell more XBox units and games to make up for lost cash.
