Did you notice the "UNCAPPED" part? Do you know what that means? Let me enlighten you.
That fucking game, came on the PC CAPPED at 30fps. Some dude made a hack, which you load before launching the game and once you are ingame, you press "0" and the game gets uncapped. I have the download link in the description. Try it yourself and tell me it's the same fucking thing.
It runs at like 100fps on my GTX and more than 60fps on my lowly 4850 and that's at 1080P.
So the fucking developer, in order not to make consoles look so bad, desided that he had to CAP the game at 30fps?
Some people in this forum are always telling me when I am bitching about frame capping and the fucked up 30fps, that "Hey man it's designed for 30fps so it's smooth". WELL FUCK THAT!
The dude that made this hack, just caught everyone with their pants down.
Corporate fucking sold out bastards.
The Force Unleashed, Spil/Second, Blur would have been much better if the 30fps limit was not there. This is due to consoles. Wake up people.
Again @ALL download this hack and see how they fuck up our PC games. |

Nice massaging of the prices there bud. I checked your links.. like the HD that is $20 cheaper in your list. I like how you scrapped around to find anything and everything with a time limited discount. LOL!
Where is the cost of the OS?
Where is the shipping costs?
How about the taxes?
Who's going to be able to put it all together? Some will probably have to pay someone..
so all in all your PC is shit, just like I told you before. I guess for morons who read your post and say.. oh gee he's right. You got me. But for those with an actual brain on their shoulder will know your pc config is a complete peice of shit and does not in reality fall under $400 at all. Shit parts like the fucking no name keyboard and mouse and psu not to mention a complete shit ass case. Check the comments for these parts people. They are all shit parts like the PSU for example, guy on his 3rd PSU, others saying not to buy "this pos". Get a grip psolord I told you in the last thread the PC sucked ass and here you come with a slightly modified list and you didn't even take the time to see half the parts are complete shit and rated as shit by consumers and sites alike. I would buy a console before I bought that shit and then you conveniently leave out other costs and then you just assume "anyone" can put it all together..

It's been a few days since I posted these prices. Do you want me to keep them updated for you? Oh rly? Of course I found things on sale man. They get the job done. It's called, doing your market research before going into the shop like a retarded ox and have the salesman throw whatever he wants at you.

For the love of God man, I live in the smallest country and we have offers like that twice a week. Don't tell me YOU can't find any of these offers? That's how I got my 4850 for 50 euros. It's even cheaper now.
Shipping costs? What shipping costs? Whatever the shipping costs are for the PS3, the same apply for the PC. What's your point? As someone said previously, if they don't ship free of charge (totally unacceptable-all shops have free delivery for purchases above 100 euros where I live) then get off your lazy ass and go get them yourself.
Taxes? What taxes? If you have to pay taxes, again they apply for all products.
OS? Yeah right! Go download yourself a Windows 7 man. You think what I propose is indecent? Was it decent for MS to fuck everyone up with Vista and then asking for our money again for 7? At least with PCs you have the option to use Linux as well. Want to stretch it a bit. Use Wine along. You will still get a better experience from your PC.
Don't they assemble the PC in Newegg? I don't know but again, all PCs are delivered as a whole where I live, if the parts can be assembled. Even if you buy just some parts that can be assembled, they still ask you if you want them assembled. As a last resort. Do it yourself. It doesn't take a genius. Just RTFM.
As for the PSU, that's a Coolermaster man. Since when is coolermaster third party no name? WTF?
On top of that, the PS3 has just one year warranty! ONE!! In the PC I made for you, you at least get, lifetime for the RAM, 3 years for the CPU and 3 years for the HDD. Quite possibly you could get another 2 years for the graphics card. So is that how much SONY trust their product that they give 1 YEAR WARRANTY? HUAHUAHUAHUA. And it is the PC I made for you shit? You are cranking my up. Really.
So all in all, the PC is fine. You just need to open your eyes.
BTW, the frame unlocker in Transformers was clean. A self respecting PC user should know better to check the files he is using and at least have Spybot Search and Destroy for registry protection and trojan blocking. One more free of charge util. If it was to be found on PS3, SONY would charge you 50$ for it.
The PC is all about options. The consoles is all about herding stupid kids. End of story. |

i like it how Tom bitches about HDDs while the PS3 came with 60gb or 80gb in the beginning now you get a whooping 320gb combined with 4 year old 256mb vid card for the low price of 300$ XD Then you pay 50$ for 30fps games and bitch about PC gaming being dead while boosting how consoles rule the gaming scene. I just wait to see the moment when they will try to sell you 1280x900 game upscaled to HD and capped at 24fps. MotoStorm anyone? XD
anyway, this pc vs ps3 pricing isn't about (for me at least) what is better, it's about "you need 1000+ dollar PC to play games" not being true. I don't have anything against people having all consoles and PC and having fun on all of them. That's what consoles are built for...until we hit 30fps cap, upscales etc. Psolord already reflected on the marketing with 30fps cap on transformers example. I personally mind the greed of developers and lack of enthusiasm when it comes to titles. No one wants to make games that will appeal more to PC users and bring in less money. Titles like HOMM, Diablo, Space Rangers, gothic, TES and so on, are being dumbed down, adopted to appeal to "general retards" (look at gothic arcania) to bring more cash.
One may say that PC gaming is dying, but that is not true, games genres and games are dying, on all platforms. If it goes on like this, gothic will become diablo, diablo will become like alien swarm and CoD will have a reward for pressing LT twice in a row with aimbot as a game feature for the sake of leveling the playing field for everyone :/ Do you want that?
