Asinine. So what they're saying is you can either STFU or show the entire world your actual real name, the one that can be tracked down and identity stolen or get you harassed by any online psycho who feels like it.
Good thing I'm already avoiding Blizzards games, this won't make me any more prone to join in. |

| Sounds like a fair move, no more likely to suffer identity theft than currently but may well cut down on all the internet tough guy twats you run across online. |

The only people who find internet tough guys online are the fragile minded twats who can't take an opinion without resorting to petty rhetoric because it shatters their ignorant and arrogant beliefs.
Anyway fuck blizztard I ain't buying any of their shit. Imposing real id's online its insidious and only benefits the corporation and its noob fanboys (only it won't help them at all). It also benefits sick psychopathic assholes and scumbags. |

Its just asking for trouble.
The way it sounds is that if you want customer support, use RealID, if you don't use RealID, tough luck on getting tech support. |

I hate going overboard on the drama. Reality unfortunately is employers check facebook your credit everything they can these days to find any nugget they might not agree with. We don't need people having an easier time of generalizing about our personal lives and how we spend our spare time. Top this off with high narcissistic culture in the USA where with your name and information people will go to various lengths to be assholes.
I never had a facebook or myspace account. My friends will get a call from me if I have something important to say or I will drive over there. Phone calls regarding work are another thing. Why would I want my employer to get in touch with me anywhere? No thanks! Leave a message if I'm not home. |

you can be surprised.
besides, they changed their minds about making it a requirement on the forums because of how many people hated the idea. |
