Did anyone notice the polygon count or is it just me again trying to troll against the consoles?

Ok, roll back to today and imagine the possibilities of decent PC systems with DX11 tesselation running this. I mean how is this promoting gaming and 3D technology? Doom 3 had more detailed polygon characters for the Love of God.

This is so freagin sad really. At least they seem to have managed more color into it.

But have you played the previous low poly gears of war 1 and 2?

These shots are nothing spectacular graphically.
But neither were the other gears of war.
Just engine marvels with above average gameplay.
Still to this day you can pick up, play at any moment and have pure unadulterated fun.

If GOW3 can deliver that same kind of re-playability, then who cares for graphics.

Really... if you're getting so upset about console games... then for the next couple of years you will be far more disappointed. These 'few' games work and play great.

Graphics these days seem to be mainly and only important to pc gamers.
So stick to pc games and continually upgrade your systems to play at highest res possible with the most frame per second your feeble mind can be happy with. What is it this days? 120?

Console gamers don't get upset over graphics (unless it's ps3 vs 360)
They get upset most of the time over gameplay.
Simple.

PC is the rhetorical shit bowl for games backed by a community of fender-bender foreheads who just don't see the door is closing on them. That's why my PC is staying static, no upgrades no nothing. It's a waste of fucking money for 1 or 2 good games a year. I play on my console 10x more than I play on my PC. The days of living on my PC are long long gone.

First of all the CGI trailers are a marketing ploy.
It's the gamers fault when they don't understand that and get their panties with with excrement.

Gameplay is stellar on consoles pending on what game you are playing.

Your post was riddled with so much hate for consoles it's remarkable that you're still defending it.

Real Pc gaming died. Long time ago. Dumbed down games didn't begin with consoles. They began with PCs. Now pc's are being shafted because the market is smaller than before. And rightfully so.

Ported games onto pc look better, but they don't play better.
Mouse and keyboard is great for RTS and FPS.
But even now that can be argued.

If you, yourself, cannot evolve as gamer, than your whining and bitching will never stop. It doesn't make you an elitist just because you prefer pc to console. It just makes you an idiot. To put it frankly. Consoles are for entertainment and they provide it. Stellar gameplay, when it succeeds. Stellar graphics (if you really are going to argue this then you're some spoiled twit who really needs to stop playing video games because you'll never be satisfied)

What is there to hate. 30fps isn't enough for you? I never had a problem playing console games. 30FPS is enough for me and everyone who moved on.


Real pc gaming died. That minute spec of gaming is dying. It will never die. it's on life support. But it will never be on top again. Accept it and evolve.


I said my piece why console turds argue graphics. But it's not whether or not the game looks like shit or has low pollys. It's mainly about which console it looks better on. If you fork out 400-800 dollars on a console you want it to be the best. To you it is the best. But to a child of no prospects of ever seeing pubic hair... he needs the best. He will watch youtube videos that show comparisons and comment with fury. Like you are when it comes to pc vs console.

All systems have their place. Console systems are more important than PC. Simple. Stick to your PC gaming and hate on consoles and hate on ports and never understand why console gamers are happier gamers than you.

You don't even have 1:1 pixel mapping on the game consoles. The whole thing is a blurring galore. The gaming resolution is getting lower and lower and you are talking about evolution and moving on? Yeah moving on with full throttle reverse!

Seriously now, Halo 3 at 640P, Perfect Dark Zero at 640P, Red Dead at 640P, Gotham Racing 3 at 600P and all that, in glorious 30fps. How is that "evolution"? All of you 30fps supporters, since you obviously have been badly brainwashed and don't even trust your own damn eyes any more, read this.

I wonder have any of you retards ever played, Crysis, Borderlands, Wolfenstein, Mass Effect 2, Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2, Dirt 2, Aliens vs Predator, Far Cry 2, Just Cause 2 and a hell lot more, at glorious 1:1 pixel mapped, 1080P with full AA and solid smooth 60fps and you still dare to talk to me, about gameplay experience, stellar graphics and smooth motion? What kind of expired drugs are they feeding you anyway?
