According to Steam\'s
Hardware Survey, most gamers are running Intel powered
(mostly dual core) Windows Vista or Windows 7 boxes with 2GB of
RAM sporting DirectX 10 or DirectX 11-based video cards.
Another 21.55 percent of Steam PC owners have a DirectX 10/11
supported card while still run

Well it appears as per Valve, everyone has switched off ancient XP and more and more are with Vista and Win 7. Good to know and also Nvidia continues to kick ATI's ass. Nothing new there though.

In case you missed it, in the all video cards listing, the ATI 4800 series is first.

In that same link, the DX11 results are a joke, lol.

In DX10, ATI is again first, although Nvidia takes over all the rest of the higher places. Seriously now, did you see the graphics chips that give Nvidia the edge? Apart from the 8800 and rebranded 9800 series, which were decent series nontheless, everything else is like non gaming capable gpus. I mean 9400M, 9500, GTS 150, 8600M, what the fuck man, every fucktard with a laptop out there thinks that he has a gaming capable machine?

What you should have a really good look at, is how Nvidia's GTX 2XX and GTX 4XX fail to gain any considerable market share, contrary to ATI's 4800 series. That means one thing. NVIDIA is not selling new gpus any more. People don't like them. Well except the GTX 260 which was a fair offer. Heck even I had one.

This "study" relieves me in my idea that for each smart guy, there are still 2 stupid guys walking by. I feel a lot more confident now, thank you ATI !

Seriously, you are no gamer. Certainly no PC gamer. You know jack shit man. On XP with a CRT and whining about OS's that everyone loves and have had great reviews everywhere, not to mention WAY MORE SECURE. Koogle, the only n00b/moron is you. Maybe you should get some help from others and pull your head out of your ass. Rolling Eyes

Unlike you, I don't make up something and believe it for myself. It's right there for you with pictures, how fucking stupid are you? DX10+ clearly outweighs DX9. Me look on surface of statistics? it's written right there you fucking idiot.

Oh and this is only Valve reports. Global outlook continues to give nvidia the upper hand unless you go to some BS ATI site. I know you can't READ properly but unfortunately I can't find a picture to sum it up for you. Seeing how you can't even figure out these stats, I'd just be wasting my time with you as always.
