In this relatively short but really interesting interview with GXBlog,
the Blizzard\'s Global Manager for Community Development, Mark Yu has
revealed that the Starcraft II will be region-locked.

When Battle.Net servers go live, will Singapore players be given a
s in the US, and local buddies at the
same time?

I wonder why they want to fuck it up?
And what's the point if:

Vis7a is a 'success', though its a pile of fucking shi7e to me. I refuse to use an inferior designed noob crap while I still have a far better setup that hasn't been crippled by retarded core OS shell design etc.

So I don't support crap products, but thank the idiots that do. Someone has got to support these monopolies right? eventually they might put out something half decent or not as the case often seems to be.

Surely it depends on lag as Yu has alluded to "best customer experience", nevertheless more copies = more buck. No point in purchasing a Korean server if you receiving high pings likewise with U.S irrespective of your friends location.

So, the game will cost ~60, and you will need to buy a new, foreign client to play with your friends abroad?

It'll be a huge success just not in America. I'd be surprised otherwise. I've played the beta, the game is nothing much really. I for one am passing SC2. I don't like the Battlenet shit and I personally think C&C Tiberium and RA3 are better games in every single possible way. I can play C&C any fucking way I want not have my gameplay dictated to me. Blizzard is nothing to me. Been around for a long time but I still don't give a shit about anything they do. Then again, PC gamers are desperate for any piece of shit on the market so there is a good chance it will sell well even on PC. Get what you can take eh?
