tbh he does suck, though he's playing on console which sucks even more for fps, unless you're a noob with poor aim anyway then I guess the suckyness is matched.

Totally true on the nostalgia points, BF2 is more fun sure teh gfx don't hold up as much. but modern games have stopped being fun, and now nothing more than simulations that take on the Skinner box game design mentality.. ie rewards you with better weapons, for spending your time playing it longer. Part of the plot to get gamers into the idea of a pay model based subscription gaming.

multiplayer games should be fair more balanced, and the fun put back in gameplay with even stupid game like things. Afteral its meant to be a friggin game. I mean diving to prone all the time, sure not totally realistic(though more than not being able to at all lol), fun yes, stupid can be.. gives the gamer a skill to use instead of playing 100's of hours to get a better weapon, yes, unless you're noob, which case you already have trouble aiming let alone trying to shoot someone who instantly dived to prone(I guess that is why that gameplay got pulled, might have put too many noobs off buying Razz) yet noobs will happily waste a few 100hours getting a better weapon etc gotta laugh at the mass majority who make it so easy for corporations to get things there way, its all about the sales afteral, if they can get away with selling a shit game to more the better.

you need to practice heli piloting?

the last time i checked all battlefield piloting was so dumbed down a chimpanse could do it.

the only "game" i remeber having fun piloting was desert combat.
wich was the only wargame/fps/simulation that was any good in my book

Well, it's my first BF, but with practice i mean i want to know how to drive before i do it on an MP and crash & burn with 3 team mates that then will eat my brain. xD

It is pretty easy. But, to give an example, nothing compare to the handling of a GTA chop. Using the mouse as a lever was a little confusing at first cause the keyboard has the same controls, so there's no need for the two.

Interesting article Koogle, i guess the fine line between reality and unreality is intentionally blurred by the corps. If you can keep people locked in their homes, and if you can keep them eating junk, and if you can keep them away from focusing on the realities of the day, and if you can keep them lost in an unreal world completing virtual achievements, and if you can keep them dissatisfied after completing game after game, and if you can keep them in a state of aggression, resentment, confusion and delusion, and if you can keep them ignoring (as Bill Gates once said) the red white and blue corporate phallic plundering their anus of wealth and health, then you'd be the CEO my son.

Remember a game is just a game but its only a game if you're part of it, don't be a sheep, let the morally bankrupt weep.

The methods described in the artikel are exactly the same that are used in modern consumerism.
there is no diffrence in going after a shiny piece of armor or a porsche sports wagon, or designer cloths or expensive wrist watches, jewelery.
the only diffrence is that the latter is culturally accepted and much less realized then the former.
All these are artificially created needs that are suggested through advertising, that you will be a better person, a more attracktive human, that you will be younger more healthy by aproximation with on otherwise completely useless and overpriced item that only exists to fullfill needs that in reallity dont exist.
if you ask me the whole bash on pc games is just because corporation that produce "real" useless goods notice the sale dropp.

well yes that is true it does already exist in society..

the only reason I brought it up was because games can be seen as an escapism, a distraction from reality to the virtual reality and having fun, now that its being tapped into even more by those who just want to make money from it more than ever before. Games are starting to become less fun. And when I say fun, I mean just spending as little or as long as the game interests me. When I've got to actually spend X amount of time just to unlock a part of the game, this isn't fun. And then it becomes a rat race because instead of the fair and balanced playing field, and the only thing setting you and everyone else apart is not your own skill in a game, its instead much more based on how much time/money a player has spent in order to gain the advantage, is that balanced/fair or fun? no its ass

Why would anyone accept this as the only way in a multiplayer game? Put it this way I'm not saying it shouldn't be allowed, some games are completely based around it or have lame achievement crap, if you get sucked into that fine, microsuck xblock Live thanks you. I'm just saying that it should not be made the focus of the gameplay especially when it comes to multiplayer games and competing directly with other players because it does not make for friendly competitive gaming at all, if anything it just promotes bad addictions and behavior. Gamers should be more aware of its effects the companies they are supporting. for it.
