| In my opinion THQ have generated trash with an exception for one or two titles during its history. Furthermore this title seems like a fallout 3 alternative without the polished storyline, gameplay and longevity renowned by Bethesda studios. |

Interesting videos, thanks for posting. It reminds me how much I hate menus with buttons that don't click easily.
I can finally see why this game has such heavy requirements, but all the tech is going to waste on textures that look so very forced in my opinion. It's hard to describe, but makes me think of poor artwork that has just been up-res'd for the sake of claiming bigger numbers without really applying the subtlety that would add enormous value.
I'm sure it's a decent game, but there is enough that annoys me about it that I'll leave it alone. |

| Very nice rig and the gfx look reasonable but the gameplay reminds me of a typical fps clone. Time to think outside the box and stop this cyclical fps cloning, as for the game i'd pass and read the book instead. |

YEAH!
No more shooters where you just shoot stuff! Down with all linear shooters!
ALL GAMES FROM THIS POINT FORWARDS where you shoot stuff MUST be open world non linear shooters! With skillls and experience! Because that makes it NEW! and UNIQUE. And they fucking better have jetpacks.
Detect the sarcasm? Good.
Linear shooters have their place. And god forbid someone make one with a friggin slightly different setting and story...based on a BOOK (GASP!).
Oh, and this damned dirty game better have monster closets (mine won't get here till tomorrow so I do not know).
Also, thanks for the videos showing it how I have ZERO chance of it looking on my PC (but I'm ok with that). |

Someones forgot their medication as for the adaption of books into games its nothing new but how its done. Look at Remedy behind the Max Payne serious with bullet time etc that was revolutionary and provided something unique, this doesn't just the same methodology with fancy gfx, sounds and plot.... yawn.
Its nice to hear people with different opinions i think they call it "free will", you pays ya money ya take ya choice, i'd wait for it to hit the bargain bin..... not. |
