Very Happy lol, AMD did it again.
They just cant suck it up for being on 2nd place.
AMD better stop weeping and start working on them driver support - which is terrible!
And yes, as the guy from Nvidia says it - Nvidia is working closely with developers to provide the best gaming experience Wink
I never had any problem with Nvidia card Wink - the problems i got were from the developers side, which they fix with paches etc... Twisted Evil

So now, when Nvidia's DX11 cards are coming, AMD is starting to cry like a little bitch Twisted Evil

LOL, man, I have ATI and NV. I always have NV except for the 3Dfx age.

Actually I have both of them for PhysX (HD4850&9800GT) and I lloking forward for the GTX4xx launch to see if I upgrade to 5850 or 470.

So, no fanboy here, but the reality is that PhysX would´t exist if NV doesn't gave money for the devs to use it.

My RIG with the two cards:

Okey man, lets not fight over it.
About the Physx, well - they exist now and before Nvidia acquisition.
What is the reason for developers not to use it ?
I cant see one!!!
And why AMD i crying like a biach ?! Well, obviously they cant offer something bether... Rolling Eyes What are they offering ? and why they dont buy developers Laughing
That whole thing sounds insane Laughing Ill go and give money to somebody to use a "shity" technology Wink
No no no... thats just not the case Smile
Yes, Nvidia sell expensive gear - but people are buying it!
Rolling Eyes Why ? WHy do people buy stuff that is worse than ATI and more expensive Wink

Simple because Nvidia drivers work and ATI don't.

QFT!

In fact, they work so fiercely , that some cards get burnt from exhaustion.

No wait, they get burnt because the "awesome" Nvidia team, forgot to keep the fan spinning! LOL! Awesome drivers guys. Awesome indeed!

Sorry Pslord, but most people have no problems with such driver release and
you can't blame Nvidia for one mistake.

can someone tell me how to make CCC work permanently, I unistall everything, re-boot, use driver sweeper, reboot, install drivers again and CCC works...until I restart my computer at which point to use CCC I must repeat the steps mentioned above.

I am serious. Win7 x64, 5850, intel build.

Razz

edit: 10.2 WHQL drivers, 9.12 were working fine (except my mouse pointer had an enormous erection from time to time, and my fav driving game NFS shift crawled compared to GTX260 performance that I had prior to buying 5850)

"Most people"? So what do you have to tell the guys that got a burnt card?

Sorry but this is not juse one issue! Do you remember what happened in 2007 with the coming of vista? Do you remember what Microsoft themselves had announced as the primary reason for Vista crashes?

Now consider this. Vista introduced the greatest changes in driver making, than any other OS. ATI made it, Nvidia failed. I should know since I had an Nvidia card back then.

In any case, thankfully, after countless updates both companies can claim stable and solid drivers. It's just that it gets on my nerves when I see people saying ATI drivers=Bad! I've been using Catalyst since the 1900XT and never had a serious problem.

Hey GX-X. Just uninstall your net framework (all of them) unistall drivers and reinstall. You should be fine! Wink It's the net framework that breaks down not the Catalyst! Yes I always wondered why ATI chose the net framework path, but hey it isn't half bad.
