Really great this guy =)

Do you support DirectX 10.1 or 11 this time? (The timing for DirectX 10 in the original SupCom "did not line up.")

LOL… no it didn’t. We are a DirectX 9 game, Shader 3. Our goal is to support technology that lots of players have. And you probably already know that DX9 is one of the best API’s in a long time and allows some absolutely stunning visuals. I think we’ve all learned not to chase newer API’s until the technology has saturated into the market (and the bugs are worked out).

It is an awesome game indeed and pretty well optimised. I tested the demo yesterday and made a video out of it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzqxFrsB1dk

It is fraps recorded, so there is a recording cap and Youtube has transcoded it to 30fps while my original file was upload as a 60fps video so it does not look so smooth, but trust me, it is! I was surprised to see the framerate hovering very close to 60fps, even while recording with fraps. In most games it is below 45fps.

Anyway, without fraps, the game runs at 90fps on my Core i7 860 and ATI 5850 at 1920X1080+4XAA. This guy speaks the truth!
