Aim system feels like console shit.

Seriously PC mouse camera sensitivity options: LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH
damn right annoying!, even on low its too fast, with the sniper rifle, its just all over the fucking place and not balanced for each viewpoint, they could have just provided a console or built in more control adjustments.. really
FUCKING PATHETIC! is an understatement!

what a screw up, it just seems more consoletarded then the first one to me, everything about it. inventory pfff

even the character facial controls are crap and limited.

And I might have thought they'd have more expansive planets to roam on with the vehicle. nah screw that.

fuck it, it turned out to be overrated noob shit.

I like how they only let your character sprint for 2 seconds before he runs out of breath.

"Just because its on console and PC doesn't automatically mean its consolized shit. "

Wrong!, that is exactly what it seems to be mean nowadays.

"I like how they only let your character sprint for 2 seconds before he runs out of breath."

I know hilarious.

"Anyway, if you have a mouse with a sensitivity adjustment then you shouldn't have an issue anyway. "

no surprisingly you do, because Mass dEffect 2 also uses mouse acceleration, which I hate, not only that manually adjusting mouse dpi settings on the fly, while playing a game! are you fucking retarded, constantly changing dpi settings to make up for what is complete balls up for development and testing, the menu system works mouse speed is fine, the speed running is fine with aim/turn limiting although a little stupid, the sniper rifle/ in game thirdperson/shoulder aiming is all fucked up.

just check steaming shit forums, plenty of others non noobs complaining about that fuckup that was aim sensitivity settings. It was the same problem in Mass dEffect, useless noob devs.

not to mention the rest of console dumbing down syndrome.

or that the game has the resale value of donkey shit.

Obviously you don't care because the issue doesn't effect you. Obviously people like ME care, because I can't play the game either. And yes, I did buy the game, so stop being such a jackass, we're not putting the game down because we don't like it, we just can't play it.

The mouse goes from moving 100mph when youre aiming, to crawling across the screen like a turtle when the game or action is paused.

It's a simple fix that should have been included in the game in the first place, however they seemed to have just used the settings for the 360 version.

Camera sensitivity settings don't help a bit. So don't be such a jerkoff when people like us pay 60$ for a game and then have it sit there until its patched.

Two questions.

Is the driving the same utter CRAP as the first game, or is it improved at all? Compare it to the rubberbandmobile shit that the first one had.

Also how are the planetary missions compared to the first one? The first one was completely repetitive and boring.. Once you'd seen 2 interior locations (be it space ships or planetary bases) you had seen them all since they were just rearranged modular areas and basically the same with different enemies (and only 3 or 5 of THOSE types). So, is it the same modular repetitive crap as the first game?

the missions aren't bad, I haven't gotten far enough to say its repetitive at all yet, but I had hoped they would expand on the planet exploration and making them more detailed. Instead of just nerfing the entire thing... maybe for Mass effect3. maybe I don't expect much going by all of the dumbing down found here though. As for the Mako driving in ME, didn't find much wrong with it considering you were not always on planets with he same gravity anyway.

As for the PC controls really its a complete balls up, those BioTards are complete fucking noobs and lazy ones at that, still makes me laugh they ship a PC fps/rpg game with only 3 sensitivity options with about 0.1% difference between them all.. fucking hilarious. And no hotkey weapon switches, and just to make .ini changes requires having ruby 1.9x installed, just to run the .ini file edits through ruby script otherwise the game will crash (look it up)

so yeah some ini file adjustments to the mouse sensitivity/ no smoothing/ mouse acceleration_lowered and I can say its about as good as I'm gonna get unless someone else can be bothered to test out what the other settings do, nothing clearly labeled, like sniper zoom sensitivity

And no skippable intro screens WTF, PC gamers being forced to sit through fucking intro's without the ESC key working.. that is bullshit another hack fix, tied in with the fact that in order to get to the character facial setup screen requires sitting through about 8mins worth of game babble without being able to skip through, (I mention that because if you start a new character or want to edit the keycode for your existing character that is what you'll have to do)

console port right through, just a shame its mostly let down by what are really trivial things for a development team to fix and put right in no time. the bigger issues and direction the game took could be overlooked if it it wasn't for the mass of small irritating things of the game.

I'd give it an around 85% just because I like the ME universe, but can't stand the UE3 engine, and shepherd speech responses are little off sometimes (rating.. would have been even lower if weren't for the ruby script fix), it should have been better than ME1 in every way really, I mean ME1 had plenty of flaws to improve and work on including the console aim and controls being naff on for a PC fps. Yet all they did overall was changed certain bits and made it a little different, but didn't really improve it much in any area, weapons/armor upgrading/ etc etc its just weak. Leaves a lot to be desired, the Mass Effect Universe deserved a lot better really.

And those reviews giving it above 90%, 100% pfff fucking noob gaming industry.

Glad I didn't listen to your moronic comments Koogle. I bought this yesterday and I was awed at how good it was. Martin Sheen, Battlestar Galactica blond, Matrix chick etc. Really well done. I don't think at all this is consolized crap. It's really well done! Way way better than 1st one in almost every aspect! Recommended highly!
