Cool, now if they would just let us have x8 co-op we'd be 100%!

Trouble is sales were too good for L4d2, we've all persuaded all our mates to buy it and now every time I get a game going I have a dozen people who want to chip in and fight.

Left 4 Dead x2 should have been its name really [4x2=8] we just need more slots!

I thought L4D2 was the standalone DLC of L4D, so now we have a DLC for the DLC

no seriously wtf Valve, the multiplayer setup and experience is poor, how they can slap a '2' on the end of the title, takes the piss. Nothing more than a cash in of a game with a change of scenery and some new weapons(most being pointless melee weapons) to keep the noobs happy. The new characters/storyline? pff whatever.

No wonder the modding tools are always LATE, and not only that, they barely improve the authoring tools. I mean the tools used for source games are OUT OF DATE bad. Mind you source engine is a bit out of date itself. But the main point was that the Hammer mapping tool really needs updating.

Was that not because the bots were gimped, and crescendo events only helped to show just how shit the game would be with singleplayer specially on expert, I mean you still can't even direct a bot to pickup> throw a pipebomb or molotov WTF, so make your friends buy this game aswel so can have some people to play with on the shitlag servers. I mean check the l4d forums tons of complaints with shit multiplayer setup and then you get a dumb bot(s) to play with when other players rage quit with this stupid game. I mean only in DLC's do they not bother improving AI code and other engine improvements that one might expect from a v2 labeled game.

Maybe they should really just call this new update L4D3 instead.

This game was designed for multipalyer. why add superb bot AI for a mutiplayer game.

This game is excellent and will provide many many hours of gameplay.

Anyone who calls the new title an expansion or DLC of the first game has thier head up their ass.

Koogle is just a legend, the man moans about everything. But I'm with him L4D2 has been a big frustrating let down.

The mapping, although detailed, has been shamefully dull. The 4th new special infected is just blatant evidence they ran out of ideas. And yeah finding an actual game is still a pain in the arse.

Take it as red Valve, if we're using a PC we are literally more intelligent than Xbox owners [no offense!] and we can handle a game browser.

In fact hiding the game browser and forcing the current system is just an insult to our intelligence. Really it is. I am literally offended by it.

Plus of course, every time theres an update it keeps redownloading the effin media files I deleted. I don't need to waste time looking at valve logos and intro videos and zombies staggering around my menu. Cut to the chase man and let me get to the action!

But if we get 8 player co-op all is forgiven!
