Excellent news!

DOOM3 is brilliant and has to be the best audio surround game i've ever played! Can't believe the animations of the creatures and the DETAIL! WOWEE!!! Even on my Radeon 9800 Pro i can play it with X2AF X2AA with the textures on HIGH and it's smooth.
Very atmospheric to say the least. 90%

Not at all Devilhood, just my opinion of the game (which i got on Fri) and the fact that ID will concentrate on SP.

It's stupid comments from FX who 'provoke a responce' when it's not even got anything to do with the content of the post. HX needs to either delete them or ban them.

doom3 overall is a average game(70% and i'm being nice). updated graphics with junk mixed in and for a gamer with an eye, it's an eye sore. though it is somewhat fun playing mp it will go nowhere. hl2 is around the corner now, nobody will care about doom3 unless they got nothing better to do. as for carmacks next game. snore, it's all carmack can do, brain dead shooters. he ain't really selling a game, he's just putting another mediocre game engine on the net to cash in. i'm really hoping after seeing doom3 that duke nukem(if it comes out) is more of a hit and not as drab and boring as doom3.
