| I don't know about 187% but I do know for a 'fact' on Vista 64bit and Windows 7 64bit 8gigs definitely = more responsive and snappier. No marketing here man. If you want to deny that then you clearly have not tested for yourself. I have personally tested, 2gig, 4gigs, 6gigs and 8gigs and I stayed at 8gigs because it is definitely all around faster. |

This is nothing new with the resource hungry 64bit.
Poor marketing fart indeed. |

Every bit of memory you add makes your system more responsive, for a fact, I had more than enough experience with that, I don't even see how anyone can deny that.
Pray tell, what exactly is so resource hungry about 64bit, exactly?
It's "just" extended addressing space. |

| I think he's what they call a forum troll? He just looks for trouble with nothing worthwhile to say and usually says idiotic things like this. For me he is nothing but a mild chuckle. Just ignore him, I think most do. Giving him attention I think encourages him. |

i'm not denying more memory is better.. ofc it is to an extent and your app usage.. i'm just saying the graph they put out was shit
and 64bit isn't everything.. there are more ways to increased user performance than just adding memory to the machine and switching to 64bit |
