EA and DICE have announced that Battlefield 1943 will be released July 8 on Xbox Live Arcade then July 9 on the PlayStation Network, priced at $15 (1200 Microsoft Points). A PC release is due in September 2009.

I guess I'll be buying this for both PC and PS3....not sure how well it will play on PS3 but I'm very excited none the less.
