Do you know why is Demigod broken? Stardock
president Brad Wardell, who\'s actually pretty open about their present
difficulties, explains to 1UP that the problems seems to
be the fact that people have been stealing the hell out of

The challenge we\'re running into is that our NAT facilitator servers

These guys are great! I admit I played warezed Sins of a S.E. but I liked it and bought it! I tried demigod 2 days ago and I like it and going to buy it! Please people, support these guys! They make great games, if you like the game buy it. If you get bored of it - sell it later - everyone wins!
Piracy is an issue for the comapnies if they make crap games (EA: NFS) or if they have un-realistic sales expectations (Cevat Yeril).
Congrats to the dev team once more! |

| This is a problem all game developers face on PC, it's nothing new. I agree with you though and when I download, if I like it and it's worth my time I'll buy it. I wouldn't be stupid enough to ask for support if I am using a nocd or rip and it crashes. |

Personally I believe this is down to companies such as EA, 2K Games, Bethesda Softworks etc ad nauseam treating customers like thieves for the last few years, Their behaviour forced people that in the past would never have considered piracy as a viable alternative to actually look into it in order to “fix†their legitimately purchased products, now so many have learned just how simple it is to “obtain†a game many of them wont bother going back.
I wont pay for any product from any company that has compromised my legitimate ownership of software I have already purchased, 3 EA published games in particular come to mind for me, the EA de-authorisation tool did **** all to return my activations so I will not be paying for anything they produce until those titles are returned to me, that is to say, it doesn’t mean I wont be getting their future games, they just wont be seeing any money from me.
For me I have no interest in this title, I like RTS and RPG but this just doesn’t appeal to me with that said though I won’t be “obtaining†this tile by any means, primarily because it holds no interest for me but secondly because they haven’t screwed me over like EA above, if this dev produces something I’m interested in I would be happy to pay the going rate for the product, that is unless they screw me over like EA has done and continues to do. |

| I follow the same line of reasoning, I have played Demigod (warzed) with a few friends and we together concluded that this awesome piece of software needs to be bought! |
