Bytes (Gothic maker) has released the first in-game footage
from its upcoming action-RPG, Risen. The game is due
out on PC and Xbox 360 later this year, with publisher Deep Silver
telling TeamXbox that a playable demo will arrive as that time draws
closer.

| Why oh why cant game developers made there own textures and objencts instead of using the what comes with the engine. Took me 1 sec to se this was the crysis engine. |

| Actually, as far as I know, it's their own engine, developed in-house. Anyway, other than a few tropical plants, I don't see any resemblance to Cryengine2. |

oh, look so much cryengine, but on there website they say:
There will be a new graphic engine used in this game, it is licenced, but big part of it is independently developed. |
