there will be a public demonstration showing how well the fully optimized engine can perform on a budget PC which can be put together for around 600 dollars complete, including keyboard and mouse.
That will be when the 'optimised' patch is released then for the 'optimised engine'.... $600, YEAH right! Half of that would be a graphics card (8800 Ultra) in the UK and the other the cost of buying full Vista!!
Don't half talk $hit

I think they probably meant: Vista Ultimate ASUS OEM Disc, BIOS Mod and stealing the graphics card Laughing

Totally agree though, $600 is just NOT feasable for running Crysis in Medium or High detail without experiencing the 1 Frame-per-second syndrome.
If they manage to pull it off with a hardware base so limited, they must be doing some seriously dirty tricks.

If they can pull it off, then why don't they go into the hardware business and sell those 'unique' Crysis killer machines? I mean i would buy it for $600! wouldn't a lot of folk?
Your right though, this is figures made up in their heads and hardware scavenged from their own gear. Nothing retail about it.....
