Microsoft just announced that the much reported price cut for their Xbox 360 consoles will become official on Wednesday, August 8. On that day the Xbox 360 Core system (no hard drive) will be lowered to $279.99, while the Premium system (20 gig hard drive) will be lowered to $349.99 and the Xbox 360 Elite syste

It must be nice for MS to have the luxury of losing billions upon billions in it's gaming division and keep on running like a champ.

The thing that really pisses me off is that they still haven't canned the Core system yet... People who can't afford the extra 100 bucks don't belong in the next gen... let them buy a wii.
