wha't up with this 16 days of bug-squashing ? how do they know that they'll finish up in 16 days ? this whole thing is some friking coverup, i think the game is finished, but the fuckers want to lauch it after doom3 !

Confused are you for F'ing real maga? u must smoke some fine drugs man. Doom3 will have ZERO EFFECT on HL2 sales. The reason they gave 16 days, is that is the true signoff(no more work allowed) before it ships to stores and they can work on it or get ready to prep patches if necessary.

well, then, why haven't they release it on september, LAST YEAR ?

Oh, the Doom3 launch will impact HL2 sales alright...i'd say by 50% at least. And why have you changed sides ? I thought you were a nvidia fanboy.
