@OEMs fail to configure Windows XP for dual-core systems

OEM's are pathetic than. This is OLD but readily AVAILABLE news/information.. a few keystrokes in Google and this information is readily available. IMO, pretty sad OEM's didn't know this stuff considering it's their business, lmao. As to performance, I would never know since I had these changes in since day 1 when I got my dual core. Any real gamer would have done the same, imo.

You should also have the latest chipset drivers too.. This article doesn't mention that at all. Old chipset drivers = memory errors and BSOD and dataloss on your Hard drives.
