I choked on my drink when I read that part too, though if you want DX10 you need Vista so I don't think it was a complete M$ pimp even though it comes across that way.

The Vista DRM has been hacked, so maybe there is a decent chance that DX10 can be hacked as well and transfered to WinXP....

One can hope.
