Its a nice looking game but as my specs don't match it's recommended requirements it's likely just like FC, I'll play it in a year or so. So much other stuff with much more reasonable requirements I don't see any reason to upgrade now. Don't care much for games like FC either. They promote camping.

I loved FC single player and the story, so will most def get Crysis.

Used to love MP away back in the Wolfenstein/ET days but it's just full of pre-pubescent pains in the arses now which do my head in.

So don't give a toss about MP now Laughing

This one time I was walking down the street and like there were all these cars driving past. Then a truck even! Later that same day I was walking back along the same street but on the other side, annoying thing was, some old lady with her walking frame was blocking a good half of the footpath and I had to walk behind her for ages because there were so many people coming the other way. The really interesting part though was when two trucks passed down the road! Yes two!

"The game will run fine on current, single-core CPUs"

Ya BS. Liars. You know the first thing they will tell you in their support forums when you tell them the game chugs, upgrade your CPU. Then they don't care because you already bought the game. I'll buy this like I bought Farcry, in the bargain bin for under $20.

There are plenty games out there that support dual-core but work perfectly well on single -besides have you looked at the price of dual-core AMD? Not exactly bank-breaking figures since the likes of the Athlon64 x2 3800 are being dropped. I can pick up that CPU for 55 bucks less than what i paid for my singel core 3500+!

The only thing i pick up in the bargain bin is hardware it's afterall what you need to play future games -picking up games in the bargain bin doesn't solve the problem that your PC STILL wont play it however many years go by. Unless of course you upgrade.

That's true, I have been considering upgrading at least my CPU. But I'm still not happy that it is 'recommended' to have a 7800.. I'll wait until the reviews and stuff to say anymore. I'd like to see how it performs on other cards before I lay out money on this game. Even still I hate games that promote camping. Very iffy if I bother with this title. I didn't like the FC story that much to begin with.
