I'm glad to see the hard drive industry is pushing forward, but I've been hurt in the past by Seagate, so I'm a little uneasy about becoming an early adopter of their new technology. If this was WD or Maxtor I'd be more inclined and excited. I've heard their most recent line of drives has been alot better than those in the past, but once a stain is put on a companies rep it's hard to get it off.
Still 750GB is a shit-ton of data. I only have 74GB right now thats only because I have 2 raptors.
WD needs to make a 300GB or higher raptor, then I'd really be anxious. |
